Welcome to Eastmont Bible Church
Eastmont Bible Church is a Christ centered church, not affiliated with any denomination, based upon God's word: the Bible. With emphasis on the Sovereignly of God in humanity affairs today and over all phases of Salvation. We believe the Bible is the Word of God. The Bible is, therefore, our only authority for our faith (what we believe) and practice (how we are to live).
The Bible reveals to us the following truths:
Concerning God: There are three persons in the Godhead, all equal in deity. They are God the Father, God the Son - Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.
Concerning Jesus Christ: He is the eternal Son of God who became man to die for the sins of the Elect. He was raised boldly from the dead and ascended back to heaven as Savior. He is coming again as Judge.
Concerning man and salvation: Man is a sinner by nature and by choice, under God's judgment and in need of salvation, his salvation is only by Faith in the person and work of Christ, without the addition of any human works. Salvation is eternal.
Concerning the church: It's primary purpose is to provide for the spiritual growth of the people of God (through the teaching of the Word and and Christian fellowship) and by so doing forester true worship of God . It is also commissioned to see that the Gospel is preached to every person in the whole world.
Pastor Steve Roth
My name is Steve Roth, I have had the privilege of pastoring Eastmont Bible Church since June of 1980. I was born (July 1947) and raised in Portland Oregon, graduated from Benson High school in 1965 and Portland State in 1975 and served 3 years (1968-12971) in the U.S. Army. I am married and have one daughter now living in Arizona.
Eastmont has always taken the financial worship of the Lord very seriously but because we are and always have been a small church I have always had to work outside the church to support me and mine. I have over the years had several jobs and for the last 10 years made my living from a machine business I started and am still running.

Pastor Doug Hewitt
Doug first came to Eastmont to fulfill a Bible college ministry requirement in 1987; he married Vicky soon after and together added four more to the ministry. After 27 years Doug has seen all his prayers answered except one: Us and Steve to change. Is Doug's faith strong enough to see this final hurdle to victory, Stay tuned only time will tell.
